The south-eastern part of Sicily is not only renowned for its immense artistic and cultural heritage, but also for its beautiful coastline dotted with many clean, free-access beaches suitable for all ages and needs.

Here we present a selection of what we consider some of the most beautiful beaches. It is difficult to say that one is better than another, as each differs in location, type of sand, and atmosphere. Depending on the time of year, we may suggest certain beaches over others based on the experience you are looking for.

During the summer season, the coast also comes alive in the evening, with the highest concentration of nightlife and entertainment along the seaside.
